Server based antispam, anti-phishing & email management solution for Exchange/Notes/SMTP servers, with minimal false positives. Spam is caught before the mail server, no need to deploy client software. GFI MailEssentials¡¯ advanced spam detection technology is based on: Content checking of body and subject for spam keywords, checking mail headers for typical spam practices, and checking if the sending mail server is on a third party black list such as ORDB. Admins can also set-up their own blacklists, as well as reduce false positives using the automatic whitelist feature.
GFI MailEssentials also protects users from phishing emails by detecting and blocking them before they reach the recipient¡¯s mailbox. Emails originating from, and terminating at the network are processed by advanced technologies built in GFI MailEssentials, maximizing spam capture rate whilst minimizing false positives. GFI MailEssentials also features disclaimers, mail monitoring of particular email addresses, centralized mail archiving to database, mail reporting (e.g., top mail users), POP3 downloading and auto replies with variables/fields.
