Netintelligence awarded CSIA Claims Tested Mark

Netintelligence, part of the iomart group, has been given the official government mark of approval following an in-depth review of its Enterprise Software as a service solution.

The company’s Ni Enterprise Manager has achieved the Central Sponsor of Information Assurance, CSIA Claims Tested Mark, awarded by the Cabinet Office. The CCT Mark is a hallmark which verifies the authenticity of claims made about a product by the manufacturer.

Ni Enterprise Manager enables network managers to monitor business IT systems in real time from anywhere in the world, with features including usage restrictions and employee monitoring. It also provides robust firewall and virus defences.

Phil Worms, director, products and marketing at Netintelligence, said the award was a significant endorsement of Ni Enterprise Manager. He said: “The CCT Mark offers reassurance to existing Netintelligence customers and gives us an advantage in attracting new customers over competitors who haven’t had their software verified this way.

“We had to put in a lot of work to successfully achieve this accolade but it’s been a worthwhile exercise to show that we have a very strong product for the market.

“We combine many different management control solutions within our product and there has been scepticism that it can actually do everything it claims. The CCT Mark now gives us a means of backing up what we say.”

Netintelligence was required to submit a document with full details of the claims to be tested, and the benefits and terms of usage for the software. The product was then required to be put through a thorough assessment period, which involved independent testing against all the claims, and customer surveys, all of which was managed by West Coast Labs.
