Aladdin Knowledge Systems, Inc. has announced that CommandSoft, Inc. selected the HASP4 software security and licensing product to prevent unauthorised use of its FibreJet(tm) product, a popular Secure Area Network management software solution. Targeted at audio-visual and digital editing professionals, FibreJet is offered worldwide through a network of more than 28 resellers. Taking into account the variety of professionals from multiple industries using FibreJet, the security key provides needed security without complicating the use of the product. With every licensed copy of FibreJet, customers receive a USB HASP4 key that must be present in order to run the software. Additionally, the USB HASP4 key can be used for software feature control and as a limited activation demo key.
